100 days before the Royal Palace Hotel & Spa opening

Home » News » 100 days before the Royal Palace Hotel & Spa opening

100 days before the opening, the countdown is getting faster in Kirrwiller.

Over the months, the architectural lines got clearer, the structure kept growing, and the building now reveals the full potential and ambition of this project led by Mathieu Meyer.

With over 40 million euros invested, the Royal Palace Hotel & Spa marks a new chapter in the family’s history. A venue nestled far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but just a step away from the glitz and glamour that have, for 45 years, brought this small village to iconic renown.

A new haven of well-being and escape in Alsace

Much more than just a luxury country hotel, this establishment is the perfect destination for a few hours of relaxation or a full holiday in the Grand Est region, offering a wide range of experiences for your wellbeing.

Stargaze in the last rays of the sun from the panoramic terrace of ‘La Plume Gourmande’, enjoy a Sunday brunch with family or treat yourself to a relaxing moment at the spa… there are plenty of reasons and opportunities for getting back together and enjoying a get-away.

As the opening gets closer, a whole new world is coming to life. Natural inspirations and cabaret influences come together to create a world that invites you to disconnect and dream.

The spaces open out onto the surrounding landscapes, the views let in the light, and each area already seems to be telling the opening lines of a wonderful escape from everyday life.

A sustainable destination for the future

Beyond this new venue, the Royal Palace Hotel & Spa is also involved in a proactive approach designed to combine well-being, innovation and social responsibility.

The use of short supply chains and local producers plays a central role across the various dining areas. Seasonally, ‘La Plume Gourmande’ and the ‘Velvet Bar’ menus will feature carefully selected fresh produce, showcasing the richness of the Alsatian terroir, the excellence of local expertise and a more sustainable culinary approach.

The establishment also relys on a cogeneration plant to optimise energy production for the entire premises, especially for the spa’s heating, whilst reducing its carbon footprint. This approach goes hand in hand with extensive digitisation of infrastructure and services to offer a smoother, more intuitive experience geared towards a new era of hospitality.
