The Royal Palace : a family legacy

1980 : The beginning of a great adventure

The grand history of Music-Hall began in 1980 when Pierre Meyer and his wife Cathy took over the restaurant ‘Adam Meyer’, which had previously been run by his parents, Lucie Adam and François Meyer.

The idea then arose to create a small stage there and host the first turnkey shows. An incredible challenge in this small village in the heart of the Alsatian countryside.

1989 : €1.5 Million Euros Invested in a 200 m² Stage

An exceptional investment for the time! Pierre Meyer builds a 200 m² stage with a hydraulic lifting platform and creates his own shows, captivating up to 600 spectators.

1996 : A turning point with the construction of a 987-seat theater

Driven by a visionary spirit, Pierre Meyer transformed the establishment and created the ROYAL PALACE with the creation of a large 987-seat amphitheatre, a stage doubled in size and the expansion of the restaurant Le Majestic to accommodate up to 800 guests. Two years later, a second restaurant was opened: Le Versailles.

A passion passed from Father to Son

Surrounded by the lights of the stage, their son Mathieu grows up at the heart of the show business and shares the same passion.

In 2014, eight mini-suites are created, extending the dream into the next morning. In 2015, they bring the Lounge Club to life, a 2,000 m² bar and club area designed for celebrations late into the night.

The Royal Palace Hotel & Spa, a New Dream Led by Mathieu Meyer

92 rooms, 2 suites, a 2,000 m² spa area across two floors, a panoramic restaurant with terrace, and a bar.

In Kirrwiller, this ambitious project embodies Mathieu Meyer’s dream.

Alongside his partner Saritâ and his parents, he undertook this extraordinary project to extend the experience and create a new wellness destination in Alsace.
